Donors and Volunteers: The Heart of Philanthropy - A Special National Report in The Globe and Mail and GlobeandMail.com
April 15, 2015
AFP is excited to be partnering again with The Globe and Mail to launch a special integrated, multi-media project on "Donors and Volunteers: The Heart of Philanthropy," showcasing the incredible work being done by philanthropists and charities across the country.
This special supplement will be published on June 12 and will use research to highlight the "prototypical" Canadian donor while profiling inspirational individuals who are making a difference in the communities around us. Other topics this feature will discuss include:
- Creating impact. How can donors be sure they are truly creating impact with their gift?
- The next wave in philanthropists. They are under 40, diverse and going a lot more than writing cheques.
- Measuring charitable work. Just how should charities measure a charity's effectiveness?

The Globe and Mail will also reprint additional copies of the report and provide an online PDF version of the supplement.
The deadline for reserving ad space is May 1.
