Want to give your fundraising a boost? AFP’s 2015 International Fundraising Conference is designed to help AFP members and fundraisers from around the world have greater success.
At the conference you can see, meet, and mingle with established leaders and rising stars of the fundraising profession. You can hear Whoopi Goldberg tell why she founded her philanthropy, Comic Relief. You can hear international marketing guru Seth Godin give his always fresh take on marketing for success in online fundraising. In a TED-type presentation, you can hear a group of fundraising all-stars tell “I Wish I’d Thought of That!” Plus, more than 200 educational sessions will offer you the latest in fundraising research and practice.
In addition to networking opportunities throughout the conference, some 300-plus companies will exhibit the latest in fundraising products and services, and AFP will host a party for everyone on Monday night.
As a special feature this year, on Sunday evening the Maryland host Chapter and CCS are presenting a ticketed “Explore and Imagine” event at the Maryland Science Center (http://www.mdsci.org/). The Center is closing its doors to the general public so that the International Fundraising Conference attendees can explore the museum and get a close look at the extraordinary exhibits while networking with fundraisers from around the globe.
Julie Cox, FAHP, vice president for development of LifeBridge Healthcare in Baltimore, says, “At this point in my career, the opportunity to network with colleagues from across the country and compare best practices is invaluable. You can never hear enough creative and innovative ways to engage and inspire new donors.”
Isazetta Spikes, CFRE, director of grants for Catholic Charities–Baltimore extends this invitation: “As a member of AFP International’s Host Committee, I’m looking forward to welcoming fundraisers from all over the world to Baltimore next year. Both the conference and the city of Baltimore offer experiences AFP members won’t want to miss.”
It all takes place March 29-31, 2015 in Baltimore, Md. With Early-Bird Registration you can save $300 off the regular rate. But hurry! Early-Bird Registration ends October 31, 2014.
